Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to have a good fitness level to attend the Movement Workshops?

There is no expectation of you at all. You will be attending to address your own needs and will move as much or as little, and as big or a small as you prefer. You can make it super (physically) intense if you wish, or you might opt to be very gentle. By signing up, you do assert that you are capable to participate in physical activity, however you can fill this in according to what your body tells you.

What should I wear to a Movement Workshop?

You should wear clothes that feel comfortable to you and that allow you to move freely. You might get sweaty, and your clothes will also touch the floor. You would preferably be moving bare foot but if you prefer socks, make sure they are anti-slip so you can move confidently. If you prefer to wear shoes, try to wear footwear with a thin and flexible sole so you can feel contact with the floor.

What should I wear to a Creative Mindfulness Workshop?

You should wear clothes that feel comfortable to you and that allow you to sit and stretch freely. Bring your own mat or cover (and optionally yoga blocks) as we will be spending time sitting and stretching on the floor. If you have any issues sitting on the floor, please get in touch beforehand so we can prepare accommodations for you. You might also want to bring some extra layers like socks, a sweater or a small blanket if you are worried about getting chilly.

Will I have to share what I want to work on with the group during the workshops?

There are no obligations. You will be there to work on yourself, for yourself. You will have the space to go with the flow or come with a plan, and you can do the work inside your own mind and body. There will be opportunity to share thoughts with the group for those who would like that.

I'm afraid of being triggered when I try to release my frustration. Can I still join the workshops?

You absolutely can. Our hosts and assistants are trained to work with people's mental, physical and emotional health, and can guide you to emotionally regulate. The techniques we use are safe and promote emotional regulation and release. Will music be used during the workshops?

Yes. During the Movement Workshops, music will be a guiding factor. However, the volume will at all times be kept at a moderate level according to group activity standards. During the Creative Mindfulness Workshops, the music is used in the background and the volume will be low.

Is water available during the workshops?

Yes, you will receive a small bottle of water. You are more than welcome to bring your own to top up. Food is not allowed in the studios.
